YORKTON – Yorkton Film Festival’s OPEN Cinema screening program returns Oct. 8, dubbed An Evening of Craft.

The evening will feature a film about the craft beer industry and will screen as part of Culture Days Yorkton celebrations.

Screening will take place at the Yorkton Public Library starting at 7 pm. Shown will be 2024 Ruth Shaw Award nominee “Plant to Pint”, a three-part series about Saskatchewan’s craft beer industry, the creative people behind it and its impact on communities.

Those attending will receive a screening sticker as part of this year’s Open Cinema Passport program. Collecting four of five screening stickers makes Passport holders eligible to win two tickets to the 2025 Lobsterfest event at the Yorkton Film Festival, May 22-24, 2025.

Open Cinema is open to the public and admission is free.
