Accused in Gregory Cope's death has another court appearance

Travis Jean is charged with first-degree murder and arson, disregard for human life, in the death of  32-year-old Gregory Cope.

Travis Jean is back in North Battleford Provincial Court June 20.

NORTH BATTLEFORD – Thirty-four-year-old Travis Jean had an appearance scheduled in North Battleford Provincial Court May 30 but the matter was adjourned to June 20.

Jean is charged with first-degree murder and arson, disregard for human life, in the death of  32-year-old Gregory Cope.

Cope was reported as missing to Battlefords RCMP on Feb. 21. His remains were found by police on Feb. 27 in the debris of a house fire on 27 Street West in Battleford.
