BUFFALO NARROWS – A 46-year-old man from Buffalo Narrows faces firearms and disguise with intent offences after an armed robbery on Nov. 26.
At approximately 9:50 p.m., Buffalo Narrows RCMP received a report of a robbery that had occurred earlier that evening. The police investigation has determined that a man entered the business, discharged a firearm and robbed the business of a sum of cash. Police didn't specify how much.
The occupants reported no physical injuries. Buffalo Narrows RCMP located the man and arrested him on Nov. 27 in Buffalo Narrows. The firearm used in the offence has since been recovered by police.
Desmond Tinker was charged with robbery with firearm, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, pointing a firearm, unsafe storage of a firearm and wearing a disguise with intent.
He appears in La Loche Circuit Court Nov. 30.
