LA RONGE – A man and woman who allegedly held a man captive last month and tried killing him are seeking bail.
Quintin Ross, 22, and Sunset Henderson, 21, had appearances in La Ronge Provincial Court July 4 and their matters were adjourned to July 20 for show cause hearings.
The pair are facing numerous charges following an assault where a man was confined and seriously assaulted at a home in Hall Lake on June 14. He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Ross and Henderson are charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, forcible confinement, unlawfully cause bodily harm, robbery, uttering threats, using a firearm in the commission of an offence, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unsafe storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm. Ross is additionally charged with two counts of possession of a weapons contrary to an order.
