MELFORT – A man from Star City faces drug trafficking charges following an altercation at a home.
Melfort RCMP say that they responded to a home at about 7 a.m. on Oct. 30 and observed crack cocaine in plain view. Officers then obtained and executed a search warrant at the residence. They seized approximately a half kilogram of suspected crystal methamphetamine, approximately 290 grams of suspected cocaine and a sum of cash.
Brandon Fulmes, 41, from Star City is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and four counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Melfort RCMP say they continue to investigate.
