PRINCE ALBERT - Members with the Prince Albert Police Service arrested a man Tuesday morning following a report of a robbery and break and enter at a home in the 500 Block of 5th Street East.
At approximately 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a break in at the residence. A man reportedly entered the home and assaulted a female resident inside. The woman was able to escape her home and call police.
The suspect left the home soon after on foot and was arrested nearby.
A man from Ile a la Crosse is facing several charges in connection with this incident, including robbery, break and enter, assault, and failure to comply with a court order. He made his first court appearance in Prince Albert on Wednesday.
