SASKATOON – Update: Prince Albert RCMP in conjunction with the Saskatchewan RCMP Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) have located 28-year-old Waylon Daniels earlier Wednesday morning. He was arrested without incident at a residence located on Muskoday First Nation.
This investigation was also supported by the Saskatoon Police Service, Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services, Saskatchewan RCMP Emergency Response Team and the Saskatchewan RCMP .
Officers would like to thank the public for providing information which assisted with the investigation.
Original story: Saskatchewan RCMP’s Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) is actively searching for 28-year-old Waylon Daniels who may be in the Muskoday First Nation area, but this can’t be confirmed. A warrant has been issued for Daniels’ arrest.
RCMP WEST is assisting Saskatoon Police Service’s Serious Assault Unit, who has charged Daniels with aggravated assault, attempted murder using a firearm, careless transport of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm without a license, and possession of a firearm in a vehicle.
Investigators have been checking places Daniels is known to visit and following up on information received, and are now asking members of the public to report information on Waylon Daniels’ whereabouts.
Waylon Daniels is 6-foot-five and 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a number of tattoos on his face and neck, including a star on his left temple, a cross on his left cheek and Roman numerals under his right eye.
