ROSETOWN – A Rosetown man has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography after an investigation by Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation.
The ICE Unit, with assistance from Rosetown RCMP, executed a search warrant in town on Nov. 21, 2022. Police seized electronic devices for further forensic analysis.
Police then charged 24-year-old Kevin Paul Sharpe on Feb. 3. He was released from custody on numerous conditions until his next court appearance.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and Prince Albert Police Service. Their mandate is to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the Internet.
