SASKATOON – A Saskatoon man is behind bars after an investigation by the Saskatchewan internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit. A search warrant was executed at the home of Jeric Villarreal Mendoza, 44, on Jan. 4, the culmination of an investigation that began on Dec. 22, 2022.
Mendoza faces two counts each possession of child pornography, luring a child; and single counts of sexual assault, sexual interference, accessing child pornography, and making child pornography.
He has been held in police custody until his next court appearance on Jan. 10.
