Saskatoon police seize 17 firearms, $32K cash, and 237 grams cocaine

Two people have been arrested in a “dial-a-dope” investigation that has resulted in the seizure of drugs, cash, and firearms.

Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) wrapped up their investigation on Aug. 17, and, with help from the Tactical Support Unit and the Criminal Investigation Division, conducted a high-risk traffic stop that resulted in two search warrants being executed.

SASKATOON – Two people have been arrested in a “dial-a-dope” investigation that has resulted in the seizure of 17 firearms, about 2,000 rounds of ammunition, $28,800 in Canadian currency, $2,800 in American currency, and 237 grams of packaged cocaine.

Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) wrapped up their investigation on Aug. 17, and, with help from the Tactical Support Unit and the Criminal Investigation Division, conducted a high-risk traffic stop that resulted in two search warrants being executed at residences in the 500 block of Candle Way and 3900 block of Taylor Street East.

A 59-year-old woman was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, numerous firearms-related offences, and proceeds of crime over $5,000,

A 39-year-old man was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
