A third accused, Charmaine Charles, 22, was given a six-month conditional sentence. She previously had a preliminary scheduled for Dec. 4, 2023, on a charge of first-degree murder. That charge was amended on Dec. 7, 2023, to accessory after the fact. Two youth – who can’t be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act – were also charged.
