Bill Shurniak, founder of the Shurniak Art Gallery, was presented with the Meritorious Service Medal (Civil Division) at a ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa on Friday June 23.

The second annual Round-Up Ready Rodeo held in Kennedy was another success. The event was developed by Natasha Romanow and Jaime Balon who wanted to bring families together to participate and enjoy a day of rodeo together.
