Humboldt expands lead water testing program for two years

In 2021, a total of 58 property owners on Ninth Street from Eight Avenue to 12th Avenue were invited to participate. Of them, 45 (77.6 per cent) homeowners sent in samples, and 11 (24.4 per cent) were noted to have lead levels in excess of Health Canada鈥檚 Maximum Acceptance Concentration (MAC) guideline of 0.005 mg/L.
