The Battlefords North Stars are on the top of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, with the Humboldt Broncos in second.

Nolan and Grace will compete in Cross Country Provincials on Oct. 15, at the Wapiti Recreation Area.

Humboldt paces the SJHL with an 8-0 record. The Broncos’ Global Ag Risk Solutions Division foe – the Battlefords North Stars – are 7-0. They are the lone undefeated squads in the SJHL.

While the winner of the Oct. 7 game is likely to be the last team into the playoffs, columnist Bill Selnes said it's hard to get excited about the game.
