North Battleford Galleries have announced their summer art programs happening over the next number of weeks.

Saskatchewan country music artist Justin LaBrash is heading out on a drive-in concert tour across Saskatchewan this year, and the last stop will be in North Battleford. The North Battleford show is Aug.

The Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts intends to wrap up their pandemic-affected season with an outdoor performance on June 4. They plan to present the musical act Zayda, with Skye Blue opening for Zayda at 7 p.m. that night.

The Battlefords Art Club is hosting its Spring Exhibition at the Allen Sapp Gallery - Lower Level. The exhibition runs April 21 to June 6 and is open Wednesday to Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 4 a.m. each day.

The Battlefords Kiwanis Music Festival went ahead under unusual circumstances this year, with COVID-19 pandemic restrictions altering many aspects of the festival this year.

Battlefords area fibre artist Heather Hochbaum is among the artists whose work has been chosen for this year鈥檚 Dimensions exhibition, the origins of which were part of the former Saskatchewan Handcraft Festival once held annually in Battleford.

The Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts have announced upcoming plans for the facility in April, and they include an alternative rock performance. The band Feedback will perform in a live stream performance on April 30 at 7 p.m.

The Dekker Centre continues its On Dekk - Presented by Battlefords Untapped series of livestream performances, sponsored by the Battlefords and District Community Foundation. This March 27 they will be presenting The Remnants.

Two sisters who grew up in the Battlefords have teamed up to produce a children鈥檚 e-book. The book is The Hill by the Lake , written by Linnea Bargen-Koehn and Natahna Bargen-Lena.
