EAST CENTRAL — The North East School Division finalized their 2022-23 school calendars, with classes starting Sept. 1 for all schools.
As with the standard in past years, the NESD designed two separate calendars, one for White Fox and one for all other schools.
For the majority of schools, there will be 185 student days, and 194 teacher days with nine being non-instructional. These include one fall teachers’ convention, one in-service day, 3.5 school improvement planning days, and 3.5 school administrative planning days.
February includes a full week break in conjunction with Family Day and spring break is aligned with Easter.
The NESD is including 310 minute instructional days, 955.8 instructional hours, and 10 hours of student led conferences in evenings.
For the alternative White Fox calendar, there will be 174 student days, and 183 teacher days with nine non-instructional.
The NESD is including 330 minute instructional days and 957.2 instructional hours.
