PRINCE ALBERT – A Muskoday First Nation man was charged with second degree murder on Saturday.
Prince Albert RCMP responded just after midnight for a report of an injured person at a home on the first nation.
"Initial investigation determined an altercation occurred between two people outside and near the residence, resulting in injuries," said RCMP in a media release. "An adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene."
Through their investigation, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes arrested Chance Smith, 24, charging him with second degree murder in relation to the death of 27 year-old Wade Dreaver, also of Muskoday.
Smith will make his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court tomorrow morning.
