Police ask for public's help following drive-by shooting

At around 7 a.m. on March 24, police were called to the 800 block of 15th Avenue East for a weapons complaint where a window was shot.

PRINCE ALBERT - The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating following a drive-by shooting early Monday morning.

At around 7 a.m. on March 24, police were called to the 800 block of 15th Avenue East for a weapons complaint where a window was shot.

Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the back window of the residence that appeared to be a bullet hole.

Shortly after, a woman was detained outside the residence for a weapons investigation.

A male was located hiding inside the house and was also detained.

No one was injured as a result of this incident. At this time, both the man and woman were arrested after being found to have multiple outstanding warrants.

Through further investigation, it is believed the house was shot at by an occupant of a white SUV with no licence plate.

Later that day at around 4:45 p.m., an officer located the suspect vehicle unoccupied.

At this time, no one has been charged in relation to this shooting; however, police are continuing to investigate.
