ESTEVAN — Estevan Police Service members responded to road accidents, breach of conditional order, thefts, criminal harassment and more lately.
On Jan. 15, the EPS received a report of a vehicle collision on King Street near the Estevan Market Mall. A semi and a car collided. There were no reported injuries, EPS said, and there was damage to the passenger car. No further details were immediately available.
Members responded to a report of fraud/theft at a local retail store. Police have obtained photos of the suspects. The matter remains under investigation.
Members also dealt with a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The suspect stole sunglasses and a debit card. The card is believed to have been used in a couple of transactions. The matter remains under investigation.
EPS members received a report of criminal harassment. The matter is still under investigation.
On Jan. 13, EPS received a complaint of a man breaching court-ordered non-contact conditions he was bound by. The matter is under investigation.
A suspicious person was reported the same day in the central part of the city. Members patrolled the area, however, they were unable to locate an individual matching the description provided, and no criminal or suspicious activity was observed.
On Jan. 14, EPS members attended to two vehicle accidents. In both accidents, some vehicles received enough damage to not be driven.
