ESTEVAN — Estevan Police Service members dealt with a variety of calls so far this week.
On May 8, members were dispatched to a business for a man who was not welcome there. He was located and left without any issues.
Police also received a call about a group of youths playing on the railway tracks and rail cars just south of the Estevan Leisure Centre. They were located and warned of their actions.
Police were dispatched to a residence in the Hillside area for a noise complaint. The owner was warned of the bylaw.
Police were dispatched to the Pleasantdale area for a report of someone hearing a female calling for help. She was located at a residence and spoken to. No further assistance was needed.
On May 6, members received a report of suspicious individuals at a local hotel. Members attended and spoke with hotel staff.
Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was taken from the south area of town. The matter is under investigation.
The EPS was dispatched to a report of a driver disobeying school safety patrollers' directions. A statement was obtained, and the matter is under investigation.
A call was received through a Report Impaired Drivers (RID) line regarding a vehicle travelling in the central part of the city. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
A residential burglar alarm went off at a residence in the south part of the city. Members attended and the residence was secure.
