REGINA - A former southeast Saskatchewan resident is in custody after he was arrested in Regina earlier this month.
Mason Strutt was apprehended and charged by members of the Regina Police Service on April 10 and made his first court appearance the following day. He was held in custody and will be back in court on April 17, also in Regina, to appear by video.
He is charged with two counts of wilfully causing harm to an animal, and one count each of assault, sexual assault, uttering death threats, and administering a noxious substance with intent to cause bodily harm.
The charges have not been proven in court.
