The editor: So now what? The last call was recited; the flags are flying at full mast.

In this column, I decided to share a story from the Russian criminal world, which recently was brought back to the public's and my attention and shocked me.

Wawota Lions Club has four new inductees. They are Kayle Swanson, Brady Dinwoodie, Dylan Lamontagne and Dale Hewitt. This brings the membership to 32. The Lions are a very busy group and make Wawota a better place to live. Thank you for your service.

The Alida community extends sincere sympathy to Eleanor, Daryl and Cheryl Harrison on the death of Joyce (Harrison) Folkerts on March 13 at the age of 81 in Medicine Hat, Alta.
