Soccer Provincials in Weyburn July 16 to 18

The Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA) will be holding its 2010 Provincial Championship tournament for Division 3 Soccer in Weyburn on Friday, July 16 through Sunday, July 18.

Extended deadline for minor football

Weyburn Minor Football (WMF) has extended its registration deadline. Although Atom (nine to 11 years) is full, there are still a few spots left to fill in the Pee Wee (13 and under) and Bantam (15 and under) divisions.

Golf tourney raises money for students

The Southeast Regional College 12th Annual Early Safety Training Golf Classic was held on June 26 at the Weyburn Golf Course. The tournament raised $8,900 which was up $1,100 from last year. Sixty-four golfers participated in the event.
