Very late birthday wishes to Ted Bateman who celebrated his 75th birthday in August. Ted was born, attended school and farmed for many years in the Farrell School District North West of Dubuc.

Bredenbury Lions thank all who purchased tickets for the monthly community draw. All tickets have been sold. The next wellness clinic held in Bredenbury will be held on Wed., Oct. 2 at 1:00 p.m. in the Busy Bees.

Paul and Pearl Flaman from San Antonio, Texas were back home for a few days last week. Pearl took in the Ladies Golf Tournament at the Last Oak Golf Course.

The Bredenbury Golf Course is hosting their annual Members Tournament on Sun., Sept. 29, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. There will be roast beef served after the tournament at approximately 4:30 p.m. Everyone welcome to attend. Cost $10.00.

The Calder Annual Fall Supper is planned for Sept. 29, 2013 at the Calder Community Hall. Supper starts at 4:30, doors will be opened at 4:30. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Pearl and Paul Flaman were back in Saskatchewan from their home in Texas for most of July. They have visited with many family members and friends while camping at Waskisiu Provincial Park near Prince Albert and at Yorkton.
