YORKTON - Yorkton Minor Football hosted a Level One Officials Clinic on the weekend.

It was an informative and engaging event, led by Rob Isbister, a senior official with extensive experience within the province and country. Isbister was joined by two other seasoned officials, and together they shared their wealth of knowledge with the attendees.

All three senior officials have experience across various levels of football, including minor, high school, CJFL, U Sport, and the CFL.

The clinic covered a range of topics, focusing on the overview and introduction of Line of Scrimmage duties and responsibilities of line officials.

Attendees also gained valuable insights into plays from scrimmage, the kicking game, and a thorough understanding of the rules.

The event was well-attended, with 14 officials participating.

The attendees had diverse backgrounds, ranging from first-time officials to those with over 20 years of experience. \

Overall, the clinic was a great success, and Yorkton Minor Football is grateful to Isbister and his team for their dedication and expertise. It was a fantastic opportunity for all participants to learn and grow in their officiating roles.
