MEADOW LAKE – Loon Lake RCMP arrested several people while doing proactive patrols on March 28.
Officers performed a roadside check on two vehicles that were parked along 2nd Avenue in Loon Lake and discovered one vehicle was stolen.
When police searched the vehicles, they seized about 21 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 3 grams of mushrooms, ammunition, a knife, a baseball bat, and drug paraphernalia.
Four men and two women were arrested at the scene. Five were later released and one was charged.
One man from Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and appears in Loon Lake Circuit Court June 6.
Loon Lake RCMP say they continue to investigate.
