LOON LAKE – RCMP are asking the public to report any sightings of 31-year-old Christian Mitsuing who is wanted by police.
On Jan. 9, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Loon Lake detachment, Police Dog Services and Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team went to a home on Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation to arrest Mitsuing, who was wanted.
The officers approached the residence and Mitsuing fled on a quad. Police used a remotely piloted aircraft and located him at a second home. Officers approached him, told him he was under arrest, but he fled again on a quad.
As a result of continued investigation, Loon Lake RCMP have charged Mitsuing with flight from a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, driving while while prohibited, and failing to comply with probation order.
Mitsuing is also wanted on warrants for charges including possession of stolen property, resisting arrest and flight from a peace officer in relation to incidents in the Loon Lake detachment area in 2023.
Loon Lake RCMP are actively working to locate and arrest Christian Mitsuing and ask members of the public to report all sightings of him or information on his whereabouts.
Mitsuing is 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous face tattoos, including two stars above one eyebrow
