PRINCE ALBERT – Two people were arrested after the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT) and Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) wrapped up a drug trafficking and firearm investigation last week in Prince Albert.
On March 29, police executed search warrants in the 2000 block of 15th Avenue East and the R.M. of Buckland and seized 1,124 grams of methamphetamine, 856 grams of cocaine, 1396 Dilaudid pills, $20,725.00 in Canadian currency, three - 9mm handguns, ammunition, and other evidence to support drug trafficking.
Kevin Georges, 36, and Saravudh Tim, 38, have each been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking drugs (cocaine, methamphetamine and dilaudid, which is an opioid), possession of the proceeds of. Crime, and several firearms-related offences.
Georges and Tim appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court April 2.
