Students at Canora Junior Elementary School hung messages on orange t-shirts outside their school to share with the community the importance of Truth and Reconciliation.

Canora Composite School students told that they have the ability to make sure Residential School atrocities never happen again.

Police were dispatched to an assault complaint in Canora and attempted to arrest a male in the home. The male pulled out a knife, threatened police with it, and locked himself in the house. After approximately an hour, the male exited the residence and was arrested without incident.
