BLACK LAKE – RCMP have charged 30-year-old Brent Cook with attempted murder. He makes his first appearance in La Ronge Provincial Court Friday.
Cook is also charged with discharging a firearm with intent, aggravated assault, reckless discharge of a firearm, and unlawfully causing bodily harm.
Black Lake RCMP say they arrested Cook around 8:30 p.m. on July 13 at a home in Black Lake.
The charges against Cook stem from an incident on Disain Road in Black Lake on July 12. Black Lake RCMP they were called to a home at about 3:40 a.m. and determined that two people approached and shot a man. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
