Body found amongst recycling say Saskatoon police

The death is not believed to be suspicious, however the Major Crime Section and Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating.

SASKATOON — The Saskatoon Police Service says the body of a deceased female was discovered at a recycling facility this morning.

Police and Saskatchewan Coroners Service are investigating.

At approximately 10 a.m. Friday morning, April 26, police received a report of a body being found at a recycling facility in the 1900 block of 1st Avenue North. The deceased is believed to be an adult female. Preliminary investigation suggests the body was transported to the facility in a bin that was to be emptied.

The death is not believed to be suspicious in nature, however, members of the Major Crime Section and Saskatchewan Coroners Service are continuing to investigate.
