Kerrobert resident dies in Lloydminster crash

A Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound on 75th St. and failed to stop at the posted stop sign. A Semi traveling eastbound on 67th Ave. collided with the Jeep.

LLOYDMINSTER, Alta. – A 30-year-old Kerrobert resident has died after a collision about 1:34 p.m. on June 23. Lloydminster RCMP say the collision was at the intersection of 67th Street. and 75th Avenue in Lloydminster, Alta.

The police’s early investigation has revealed that a Jeep Cherokee was traveling northbound on 75th St. and failed to stop at the posted stop sign. A semi traveling eastbound on 67th Ave. collided with the Jeep. The driver of the Jeep was located deceased. The driver of the semi was not injured. Police didn’t say whether the driver was a man or woman.

RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the scene.

The RCMP continue to investigate.
