LLOYDMINSTER, Sask. – Lloydminster RCMP arrested an 18-year-old man and charged him in connection to a break-in.
Police say that at about 3:42 a.m. on July 6, officers were dispatched to a break and enter in progress to a residential building on 18th Street and 47 Avenue. When they arrived, the suspect was gone, however, the homeowner provided a description of the person involved and the RCMP Police Dog Services (PDS) were contacted to track the suspect.
Victor Raul Mendez, a resident of Lloydminster, has been charged with break and enter to a residence, disguised with intent to commit an offence, and failing to comply with conditions. He has been remanded into custody and will appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court July 13.
