Crown reveals arrest came as a result of a "Mr. Big" sting

The Yorkton municipal RCMP have confirmed they have made arrests following a firearms complaint that instigated the closing down of all Yorkton schools this afternoon. At approximately 12:20 p.m.

The Good Spirit School Division has confirmed a lockdown, which shut down both Yorkton high schools and briefly all elementary schools has been lifted. All the students in the city are safe, said Lynel Martinuk, spokesperson for the school division.
