ESTEVAN - The opening night of the Estevan Exhibition Association's Energy City Ex. provided a lot of entertainment.
Large crowds gathered on the exhibition grounds. After some early clouds cleared, the sun came out and it was a clear night for the people who attended.
They enjoyed rides and carnival games that were part of the West Coast Amusements' midway. Food booths and trucks were on site. A kids' rodeo gave young people a chance to showcase their talents in three different events.
The Energy City Ex. will resume Friday afternoon, and it will feature Day 2 of the midway and the first night of the KCRA Rodeo. Doors to the midway and a quilt show open at 4 p.m. and the rodeo begins at 6.
